Our Fainting Goat Bucks

Paco

Picture
Black & White Buck w/Marble-Blue Eyes!
Miniature Silky Fainting Goat

Black and White Horns

We purchased Paco near Janesville, WI, when he was about 5 months old in July of 2006. Since then he has been a magnificent addition to our breeding program. He is black and white with marbled eyes *blue center with brown edges*, striped horns, has an amazing hairdo and a long silky coat.
He is a very sweet boy with lots of character. He is well behaved on lead and off. Paco is not registered as of right now. He tends to pass on his long silky coat and generally his kids have either blue or marbled eyes.

Paco will be leased out for breeding in November/December, but after that, we are offering him up For Sale. Unfortunately, we have decided to cut back on our bucks and only keep two at a time (Landon and Simba). In addition, Paco was our original buck that started it all; therefore, he is related to half of our herd! He has been an awesome herd sire and has great confirmation. We will be sad to see this guy go. If you are interested, we aren't in a hurry to sell him, and are open to reasonable offers. We are asking $400.

Miniature Silky Fainting Goat
Polled (Naturally Hornless)

We recently acquired Landon from a breeder in Yorkville, Wisconsin. We purchased him in order to expand our breeding program, but it turns out he is actually Paco's grandson! We owned Landon's dad, Hemingway (Paco's son), before we sold him to Jan and John Sullivan. What a small world!

We were very fortunate to find this guy and love that he is sooo laid back. Nothing seems to phase him. Landon loves to go for walks and puts up with just about anything. He usually passes on his blue eyes and silky coat to his kids. Landon is also double registered with the Myotonic Goat Registry (MGR) and the Miniature Silky Fainting Goat Association (MSFGA)! We are excited to see what he will produce. Thank you, Vikki!

Meet our newest boy, Simba :)
Red and White Buckling w/Amber Eyes!
Possibly a Foundation Miniature Silky Fainting Goat
DOB: Born May 21st, 2011
Horned

Simba is the most recent addition to our bucks. He is actually still a young buckling, but he will be a part of our future breeding program. Holly and Chelsea picked up this little cutie in Princeton, WI from the Pine Acres Fainting Goats. Thus, his registered name is Pine Acres Fainting Goats Bo Jackson. However, we have decided that Simba fits his personality and his color perfectly!

He already has a cute hair-do, just like what Paco had as a buckling! We love Simba's easy-going attitude and beautiful color. Plus, he is not related to any of our does :) His dad, Elvis, is a black miniature silky fainting goat and his mom, Daisy, is a red and white fainting goat with a great personality! We can't wait to see what this guy will produce. Thank you, Angel!

We love to use these Zenport brand shears (seen above) when cutting our goat's hooves because the blades touch together like a pair of scissors...unlike other shears that slide next to each other and sometimes get the hoof caught in between the blades.
