Our Amazing Mama Does

Shanell--FOR SALE

Picture
Shanell summer 2011. ~6 months old
Shanell (Nelly)
Black and White Doe w/Amber Eyes
Horned
1 year old

Shanell is out of Christian Dior (pictured on this page) and Paco who can be seen on the bucks page. Her dad, Paco, has blue eyes and a long, silky coat--which she has partially inherited. Nelly's coat is coming in a little, but I don't think it will be as long as Paco's. She has a great personality and her favorite place to relax is on top of the dog house we have in the goat pen--just like her mom!

Shanell was also shown at the fair in spring 2011 and earned a reserve champion ribbon with the help of her FFA friend, Brianne :)

We are asking $150 for this great little goat. She would make a great show goat or new addition to any herd. An updated picture can be seen below.

Magnolia

Picture
AKA: Magna
Black & White Doe w/ Amber Eyes
Disbudded (horns removed)
Miniature Silky Fainting Goat
DOB: March 2006

Magnolia is the oldest one in our herd, but she really isn't that old! She loves people, food, and likes to lick your hand or just get pet. Her personality is amazing--she is the sweetest goat! Magna has been shown at the Dane County Fair several times because she looks great and is also easy to lead. Magnolia is a twin sister to one of our bucks, Paco. She has a great personality and is pretty much bomb proof--so much so, that she hardly faints anymore!

Kismet

Picture
AKA: Kissy
Tricolor Doe w/Amber Eyes

Horned
Miniature Silky Fainting Goat

DOB: April 2008

Kismet is out of Magnolia, so she has a beautifully long, silky coat. Her dad is a big Tricolor named Kaleb. Kissy is another popular goat to show at the fair because of her beautiful coat and great personality! She usually has tricolor silky twins and is an awesome mother. Kismet is easy to lead, loves getting attention, and is at the top of the pecking order.

Mercedes

Picture
AKA: Mercy
Tricolor Doe w/Amber Eyes
Horned (one bent horn)

Mercy is from Pfaff Farms in Iron Ridge, WI. She is very colorful and small, just like our little girl Kismet. She had her first kids in the spring of 2010 and produced two more last spring 2011. Mercy is definitely a fainter--she faints just from seeing food (out of excitement)! Mercedes has a beautiful cashmere coat during the winter time and is probably one of our smallest girls. She is also a great mom.

Shasta Lily

Shasta Lily (Lily)
Black & White Doe w/Blue Eyes
Horned
1 year old

Lily is out of Magnolia and Cosmo (one of our previous bucks). She is still a little shy, but will do anything for food! She has beautiful, blue eyes and a great personality (that she probably gets from her mom). Lily will be one of our breeding does next year. She is starting to get a longer coat and is beginning to warm up more to people.

Abalone

Abalone (Abby)
Tricolor Doe w/Amber Eyes
Horned
1 year old

Abby is out of Kissy and Cosmo (one of our previous bucks). She is starting to get a longer coat and definitely has a cute little skirt already. Her first kid, Euchre, was born earlier this year and will be for sale as soon as he is weaned. Abby was shown at the fair last year and loved the attention.
